First pontic
A pontic (dummy) is the part of the bridge that does not rely on natural teeth, molars or implants, but replaces the missing teeth.
The bridge section is declared per element to be replaced.
This performance includes taking impressions, making a standard bite registration, determining the colour and fitting and placing both the emergency device and the pontic.
The pontic is made of metal, ceramic or a combination of these.
