Loosening the mucosa, cleaning root surfaces, smoothing and polishing root surfaces of the teeth (root planing), correcting the bone edge, bonding the gums (gingiva) and mucosa (mucosa), mechanical cleaning and disinfection of a wound (wound toilet) and instructing the patient.
Including preparation of practice room, anesthesia and instruction/information on oral hygiene.
